WHO WE ARE

Established in 2003, ASA Controls is a turn-key controls contractor providing DDC system design, installation, start-up and service to educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial customers.

ASA is a Certified Tridium Vykon Systems Integrator (VSI), Siemens Talon Solutions Partner, and Honeywell WEBs controls integrator which blends with our business and market philosophy of “customer choice”.  A customer should not be forced to continue working with a contractor or service provider due to software licensing restrictions, dedicated service/engineering tools and/or controller communication protocol.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

ASA’s philosophy of “customer choice” has allowed it to become a substantial independent control contractor.  Our projects are varied and have ranged from K-12 school districts, large office buildings, multi-building medical campuses, and government facilities.  The projects have incorporated a myriad of HVAC systems ranging from typical central hot/chilled water plants, air handling units, terminal units to energy recovery systems, hot/chilled water-to-water heat pump systems, ice storage systems, and dedicated outside air systems. Our projects have also included extensive integration of boilers, chillers, rooftop units, switchgear metering, etc. utilizing LON, BACnet, ModBus and oBIX communication protocols.

ASA implements this philosophy with Multi-Source, Open-Protocol systems – Tridium products with open licenses for the front-end (Multi-Source) with Siemens Talon Bacnet and Honeywell LONMark/Bacnet certified controllers at the field level (Open-Protocol).  Open-licensed Tridium products can be serviced and supported by any Tridium AX certified company.  Siemens Talon Bacnet and Honeywell LONMark certified controllers are accessible and configurable via any manufacturer’s Bacnet or LON management tool.
